Exploring... Adults’ physical activity levels
UK physical activity guidelines recommend that over a week, adults should be active for at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity in bouts of ten minutes or more. This fact sheet looks at the major health surveys for the home nations to give the facts and figures on how many adults across the UK are meeting these guidelines.
Findings are also broken down by gender to give a clearer picture of how many males and females are meeting activity recommendations.
